My mother-in-law came to stay this week (to see Imogen in her dance concert which she never ended up doing due to a bout of gastro… poor chicken), and she bought me a Christmas gift. Something she said she simply COULD NOT walk past.
Isn’t he gorgeous! My very own singing, shuffling, photo-taking Santa. The flash bulb even lights up

Great workshop and session in Adelaide at the weekend, and then I travelled back to Melbs on Monday. Dave and the kids met me at the airport and we took them for ice-creams and plane spotting. A windy, noisy, messy outing – but the kids loved it! x

This little munchkin was just 4 weeks old at her session. Too cute for words!

I love the drunken sleepy face after a feed x

Photographers Tip: Most of these were taken with ISOs ranging from 1250 to 2000.
Photography Workshop Dates for 2012 are about to be released. If you would like to hear about them when they’re announced, please let me know here. This release also includes information for available photography sessions around Australia for first half of the year.

Roast pumpkin and fetta – winning combination. I made these muffins on Sunday – they are super delish, sort of healthy…ish. You can find the recipe here. Best eaten warm and the tray of 12 lasts about 5 minutes. x

A few weeks back we visited friends for a BBQ and in between courses we took 5 minutes for a few photies of the beautiful hubba bubba. x

Crazy Melbourne rainy weather. Imogen spent the morning snuggled up listening to the rain… and Phineas and Ferb.
Dave and I are out tonight with friends and brothers and sister-in-law for Eddie Izzard – our FAVE comedian. Happy weekend to you, rainy or not. x

I love these two beautiful souls. I photographed Ashley and Chris last Christmas and was so happy to take part in their tradition again. This time we shot around their home town in the country. They are most divine people, inside and out. I can’t wait for next years’ shoot — and am waiting for the day when Ashley calls and says, “there are 3 of us now!” :) xo

An incredibly scrumpy bub.

A bit of sass from big sister.

And some good old sibling love.

The sibling shots above were all shot on 50mm 1.2 lens at ISO 1000, f/3.2 and 1/500s — approx. 2m from window light. x

Danielle is such a gorgeous girl and fellow photographer. She needed a set of images that reflected her personality to use for her business. She is stunning anyway, but I think Napoleon Perdis have done a fab job on her make-up.
In other news, my babes have been getting good use of the pool now that the weather is hotting up. I get so happy to see lots of chunky little butt cheeks squeezing out of their bathers! I will be sure to indulge you with some pics of this soon

Sometimes when I photograph gorgeous little kiddies, I like to take very serious shots of them. x
