I am off to Sydney for a weekend of shoots and a workshop. Then next week is The Digital Show in Melbourne – a fantastic 3 days of everything photography. I will be speaking at the Seldex stand at 1pm everyday.
Kate and Mike (so gorgeous!) were married last November at a beautiful venue on the outskirts of Melbourne. Due to heavy constant rain on the day, we decided to go back to Emu Bottom for a honeymoon session to make the best of the location!
Photos for dear friends who have been wanting a family session for so long, and we finally got around to it on a glorious autumn morning last week. Tuesday wanted simple photos that captured where they are right now, with lots of love and cuddles thrown in.
There is so much I love about this family — but mostly I think it is their “take us as you find us” attitude. The Veldhoven door is always open, love and generosity flow in abundance, and I’m very lucky to be their friend. x
I love these two beautiful souls. I photographed Ashley and Chris last Christmas and was so happy to take part in their tradition again. This time we shot around their home town in the country. They are most divine people, inside and out. I can’t wait for next years’ shoot — and am waiting for the day when Ashley calls and says, “there are 3 of us now!” :) xo
Danielle is such a gorgeous girl and fellow photographer. She needed a set of images that reflected her personality to use for her business. She is stunning anyway, but I think Napoleon Perdis have done a fab job on her make-up.
In other news, my babes have been getting good use of the pool now that the weather is hotting up. I get so happy to see lots of chunky little butt cheeks squeezing out of their bathers! I will be sure to indulge you with some pics of this soon

Longing for a beautiful photograph of myself leads me to believe there are other mums out there who would like the same. And so I am very excited to introduce Model for a Day!

Megan is a mum to two, wife to one, swimming teacher to little people, sister to eight, dog walker to her new pup, fan of Jon Stevens and friend to many.
I had asked her to arrive at the studio with only hair washed and face make-up free. While she drank coffee, her hair and make-up was done by Jacinta and Monique. Gorgeous work – thanks girls! Ashley and Chris are the most adorable couple ever. We all fell in love straight away and chatted, laughed, had a ball and dreamed of photo shoots with their children for the future. They aren’t pregnant yet — we just daydreamed
These guys were married in July of this year in Canada (in Ashley’s hometown), and wanted to create a tradition where they have their photos taken every Christmas. This is Ashley’s first Australian Christmas so we thought the beach was the perfect location.
