Models Required

Sat August 28, 2010

With The Scoop photography workshops fast approaching, I still have some model opportunities available for Sydney and Adelaide.

Sydney – I need mummy’s with a baby (aged 5-10mths).  Older siblings welcome.

Dates: Wed, 8th Sept and Thurs, 9th Sept — morning

Adelaide - I need mummy’s with a baby (aged 5-10mths).  Older siblings welcome.  And a family of 4 or more.

Date: Fri, 17th Sept — morning and afternoon

All you need to do is be available for 1.5hrs for me to photograph you gorgeously.  I will be teaching as I photograph, but will make sure the end result is a beautiful set of photographs for you to keep to thank you for your time.

After I have photographed you, the workshop attendees will have some time to photograph you as well, with my guidance.  This will be a very warm and easy experience, and the attendees are welcome to share any of their images with you as well.

If you are available and interested and would like more information, please email me!  me@angiebaxter.com.au

On a side note, how is this for ISO 2000!

Our Nephew

Sat August 21, 2010

Dave’s sister gave birth to her third child this week, unexpectedly born at 29 weeks.  We got to meet him today and he is so dear.  It was hard to get a photo of his face as the hats he needs to wear are quite large with a peek so his wee face is shielded from the light above him  — he’s like a little gumnut baby.  But he is comfy and warm and in the best hands.  Everyone is so excited about his safe arrival and the fact that he is doing SO well.   We really can’t wait for cuddles.

My sister-in-law was laughing about this shot that she really should have got a manicure first :)

Family Photography Bayside

Thu August 19, 2010

Family loving.  It’s everything that I adore about this business.  Just good old hearty, big family loves.

The boss :)

Then her pointy little finger saw a puppy.

Then he ran away.  Cute.

Dancing

Wed August 18, 2010

Imogen hid under the covers and didn’t want her photo taken in her ballet outfit this morning (ballet with attitude?).  Then I said she could jump on my bed.

Jasmine’s 8th Year (Fred & Ginger)

Tue August 10, 2010

And, today Jazzy turns 9.  Here is a snapshot of the last year.

All of her dreams have come true this birthday.  For years she has been asking for a pet.  Dave and I are not really pet people and wouldn’t even know where to start.  Last year we gave her a life-size mechanical dog???  He just didn’t really cut it! :)   Jaz was desperate for a real pet that she could cuddle for hours on end.  Last night we presented her with her own guinea pig.  She named her ‘Ginger’ and after cuddling her for an hour said, “I just feel like the luckiest child in the WHOLE world.”  I am so happy for her.  And surprisingly, I find I am rather fond of Ginger too.  So much so, that we returned today to pick up her sister from the litter.  And to my delight, Will has named her Freddie!

Will’s 6th Year

Fri August 6, 2010

My beautiful boy turned 7 yesterday.  I always love to put together a collage of images from the year just gone so I can see at a glance how much he has grown.  Here is my fella at 6 — a charming, sensitive and happy little clown :)
