This littlest of blessings was born yesterday. Willow Gabriella. She is my darling friend Tuesday’s third child. And my godchild. Tuesday asked me to be there just after she was born; to capture her newness, their love, the family’s first feel of complete, and simply, this tiny new wonder in her first few hours.
With her husband Nick, we shared tears of true joy as their “little mouse” squeaked in their arms. I did my best to hang back and document this special day quietly. Before she was three hours old I had taken over 200 photographs. Still so many to go through, but I wanted to post these while the feeling was fresh. xo

Angie, these are without a doubt my most favourite images ever from you. Not just because the family in them is so special to me, but because you have truly and so perfectly captured that raw emotion that is buzzing in the room at the time of a birth. These are so incredibly perfect x

Congratulations Tuesday & Angie – not only for bringing such a gorgeous baby girl into the world, but for taking such incredible photos of that very precious time when someone arrives and meets the most important people in it’s life. Thanks for sharing it with all of us – it allows those of us fortunate enough to have been on this journey, a chance to relive, reminisce and remind us of those special times. Xx
