And the little guy who has an artist for a mummy.  You can just see her painting hanging on the wall behind him.

Clever Lady

I recently had a session with a beautiful boy.  I was admiring the painting below on their wall and was blown away when I discovered it was painted by mum Fiona.

I am in love with her work which you can find more of here —  Fiona’s Paintings on Facebook.

Baby Photography Bayside

This session was all about this darling boy.  His two big brothers who smother him with love had their own photo sessions at the same age.  So this was his turn.

While motherhood can occasionally look like this.

Most of us understand, it more often looks like this :)

My loves

Most of the time my kids have had enough of being photographed.  However, on a recent commercial warehouse session they were very excited to be included.  Afterwards, they couldn’t wait to get their model on and styled their own shoot.  Jaz and Will chose their outfits and poses.  x

More on portrait photography here.

Family Photography Melbourne

This funky sitting room reminds me of The Brady Bunch lounge room.  How I loved that show.  This shot was one of their enlargements.

I have a beautiful friend, who has two beautiful boys, who is having a beautiful baby in just 5 weeks… while we are wishing we looked this good without a pregnancy, I must tell you that she is that lovely on the inside too :)

Holiday Snaps

We have just spent a week holidaying with my mum and Tony, who live in a small town on the NSW South Coast.  Being such a small town, it is easy to get around.  And a quick explore on the beach before breakfast, after lunch and or again before dinner was just so simple.

I love a heavy, grey sky — so the overcast moody days suited me just as much as the sunny ones.   The kids couldn’t tell the difference.  Jazzy and Will spent most of the time chasing waves and Imogen was knee deep in sand and mud.  She was even heard yelling at one point, “I LOVE MUD!”

I love this series – playing chasings and laughing and running backwards and photographing all at once.

Loving her in this hat.

My boy so knackered.

Pre-breakfast.

Love.

So much digging for Miss Imogen.

Our next holiday is Tasmania in May – can’t wait!

Home Sweet Home

Three weeks of travelling… workshops, family, holidaying. And spending the last week of it loving and playing with my beautiful babelets on holiday has been the best (so many photographs to share!). The rejuvenation was needed and my catch up begins tomorrow.
