2009 has been such an incredible year. I am surrounded by happy, generous and just plain awesome family and friends. I celebrated a 12yr wedding anniversary with the most supportive and affectionate man. My scrumptious babelets fill the day with so many laughs, cuddles, and craziness. And my business… well, I am in my element.
Thank you to all the wonderful people I have photographed this year. I adore my time with you. Before each session I am excited. Seeing how your family love each other and turning that into photos is an amazing feeling.
What can you expect from a family session? There will be laughter, and squeezes, and fun, and happy tears. Most importantly, it will be easy for you. And… we will probably hug at some point
I have so many plans for 2010, it wouldn’t be kind for me to bore you with the details. It is enough to say that I know it will be magnificent. I am a big one for lists, goals, dreams… for next year I am going to keep the resolution simple. “To try and be my best self in every moment.”
If you have 2mins to spare, you can view snippets from my 2009 sessions. I photographed well over 100 families this year — to include everyone was too much so I’ve just picked a few randomly.
To you… here’s to a most magnificent 2010! xxx
I hope that your Christmas has been full of many joyful moments. This darling boy got to spend his first Christmas with his doting older brother.

Three years ago I photographed this gorgeous little button.

And now her new little brother has arrived. He looks pretty much identical to his sister. Was so gorgeous to see this beautiful family again. Always hard to pull out only a few faves.

I lay him on his side and then he positioned his arm perfectly all by himself — too cute!!

Look how loved you are — a sweet, longed-for miracle. x

Wow – the last few months have been the busiest I have experienced for my gorgeous little business. I have been working around the clock to process the collections of many beautiful families before Christmas. My good mates down at Zhongs (shopping centre massage) will be seeing me again this week — cramped shoulder, neck, wrist and thumb muscles from all the computer work — heavy duty sporting injuries (so cool).
Christmas shopping is just about done. This kids are so excited. What I love most about them at Christmas is they don’t ask for anything. We don’t have wish lists or letters to Santa — they really do think… “whatever we get will be great.” After a brief run-in with Santa at a Christmas BBQ Imogen thinks he brings lolly-bags, which is right up her alley anyhow.
I am getting this week started off right with some early morning rising, a gym workout and a photo of this little sweetheart from a recent session. x

I have photographed this beautiful family before and am always so grateful to be invited back to see how their beauties have grown. Here are just some of my favourites. x

The joke you share that only you and he know, he squeezes your hand, your arm pulls him closer, he kisses your forehead as you rest against his chest… the journey you have taken together, the children you have created, the fun still yet to come…
