The Bayside photo session for this gorgeous couple took place on one of our recent scorching days — we battled the heat and flies and found our own little pocket of heavenly light. These guys get their photographs done every year — how cool is that, and such a fab thing to do with your loved one. “Dave… Dave…?” x

My wonderful friend Tuesday and I are about to embark on an 8-hour road trip to take part in a week of Jesh de Rox. I spent a day with Jesh at Blend in Sante Fe earlier this year, and he was amazing. I am so excited for everything this week has in store. Now, if I could just process all these jobs, get my bags packed and spend some quality time with my beauties before I go, I could jump on my bed too. x

There is just nothing like a baby of this age – the 6 month mark is heavenly. x

A burst of colour for this family photography session. Such a beautiful family, amazing kids — so scrumptious with their giggles and love. x

Remember the days before email, texting, facebook, skype… when you would get letters in the post. Letters from your gran, your aunty, or aerogrammes from your oldest friend overseas (hi Vic!). Letters with hand-written addresses. Well, I received one of those this week and here is what was inside. A gorgeous letter with picture from a beautiful boy that I photographed. Pretty gorge and it made my day. xo

Our beautiful babe was resting on a U-shaped neck cushion that was positioned on an ottoman1.5m from a window on the left.

Today I am loving… cooler weather, a sleeping toddler, children with fresh haircuts, a phone call from Paris, painted toe-nails, a bbq with friends, sparkling mineral water, and juicy pears…

N.B. Picture taken at a recent Jinky Art Retreat - a gorgeous idea from Barb
Adorable and adored.
The canvas… I love.

Me: “Imi, can mummy take a photo of you?”

I guess that’s a no…
Still managed to get a couple. The best light in our house falls on the dining table — lucky she sits there often. Half my photos of Imogen are taken on the dining table – such an awesome setting?
