Melbourne Baby PhotographyI met a sweet little man today – such a placid munchkin. His mummy wanted to photograph this time before he loses his glorious roundness! Here he is…
And lots of loving from mum – these are the sort of pictures I wish I had of me with mine!
Some Daddy time…

Posted on May 15, 2009 | 1 Comment Crazy Happy [Children's Portraits]Some very dear friends of ours have recently decided to move back to the UK after 5 years here. Sob! Here is a recent snap I took of their four beautiful children – wonderful friends to our kiddos.
Posted on May 11, 2009 | 2 Comments Last of the Colour SchemesJust a few more with some great colour blends for this winter. I think it’s easy to fall into the trap of all dressing in the one colour, simply because it’s hard to visualise an alternative. However, I do believe that a little bit of planning into the colour palette that will showcase your beautiful family can produce amazing results. These will become treasured family photos after all. Hopefully the colour schemes I’ve recommended here will be a good start to nurture your creative side:)

N.B. Can you tell I’m having lots of fun creating these – I think I’ve missed my calling.

You can lay out everyone’s outfits on the bed to see in a ’snapshot’ whether the colours are blending. Start with one or two base colours, and then see where you might be able to add a few splashes here and there (it might even be as simple as some hair ties).

While the biggest tip of all is — be yourself and be comfortable — a little bit of inspiration doesn’t hurt. I have put together a series of themes for winter that I will post here over the next week. Here’s the first one — red and charcoal never goes wrong. Enjoy!

After scanning my April images I see I have been rather neglectful of my favourite little guy. I hope that other photographers suffer the same fate of taking thousands of photos every month, only to find 3 of their own kids. (Mental note – must take more photos of Will). Jazzy.
The total book-worm, just loving her Famous Five. (She recently asked if we could go for a holiday to Billycock Hill – too cute!)

The excitement of a sticker.
Posted on May 3, 2009 | 1 Comment Baby Photography BaysideThis is the cutest age – I always loved my babies so much at that 7-8 month mark. Just starting to crawl – well, most babies are starting to crawl. All three of mine lay on the floor like gorgeous blobs until they were 12 months! But still, 7-8 months is so scrummy. Look at this little fella. He was nearly eaten.
