This little guy did so well to keep his head up – it was a struggle – there were many photos of him rolling to the side or with his face planted against his arm. Tummy-time is definitely the trick to wear them out!
Fantasic session today – will post pics of the owners of these shoes next week. And yes, it is Saturday night and yes, I am sitting at my computer.
This fab family were so easy to photograph – happy, smitten with bub, and loving life. And I loved little Miss C’s red top so much, I went straight out and bought one for Jazzy. x

These guys were tres cool – as was their house. While these weren’t my initial favourites from the session there was just something about these first two. A moment, I’m happy…
And I must be funny. What a scrumper.
I don’t often photograph in playgrounds — they rarely make a nice backdrop and can often be crowded. We had intended to photograph in a different spot and while dodging rain gave these girls a quick play first. The sun broke through for half an hour and all moons were in alignment – park empty, girls happy, light perfect. And the warm tones of the wooden playground made a great backdrop. Oh, and I lost about kilo chasing them around.
This session was mainly for my client’s younger daughter, as her older sister had had her own session at about the same age. How cute is she!

And I just loooove this cheeky face.
This sweetheart boy of mine loves super-heroes, playing any sport with his buddies, cooking with his mum, doing somersaults in the air on the trampoline, and squeezing his baby sister. He stopped moving for 5 seconds so I could take this.
Just over a year ago this little munchkin arrived.
And look at her now. Just 14 months old and she can talk so well – really well. I was blown away. {As an aside, Imogen has a new word and that is ‘bum’ – that’s nice, isn’t it.} And gorge afternoon light here considering it was raining on my way to the session. Gotta love Melbourne
