This little girl has a very special relationship with her grandfather. Their weekly ritual is a trip to the park and then babycino at the local cafe. And mum wanted this bond captured. Such a great idea for a photo shoot, don’t you think!

This moment has been long-awaited for, with her friends having all lost 5 or 6 teeth by now. ”I’ve got my first wobbley!” was said months ago. Finally, it fell out at lunch time yesterday. The anticipation of the tooth fairy was just too much. I was nervous when she asked, “mum, are you the one that takes the tooth and leaves the money?” All that was forgotten when good old TF left glitter around the glass and $5 in gold. It was her first one after all 
Gone are the days of macaroni necklaces… Will (4) made a proper beaded bracelet with gorgeous jewels at kinder for mother’s day. And Jazzy (6) wrote me so many beautiful cards and lists and letters. The card had a break-out “You Rock!” on the front. Some bullet-points on her list of things I had to do – “take your time, just relax.” And also a story, “one day a little girl loved you, and still that little girl loves you. It’s me!”
I can’t let mother’s day pass without a happy snap of my beauties. Hope you all “took your time and just relaxed” yesterday. x
We have lots of nieces and nephews, although only two in Melbourne. These were taken at lunch recently. Cheeky and gorgeous!
